It’s Simple. Our Mission is to Stop the Growth of Male Skin Cancer.

Call it what you want. Bro-tection or being buddy-minded, we want you to take life outside and protect your skin every single day.

Our story began with personal heartbreak. We were three healthy young men, who thought we were indestructible. But then, several of our friends – all healthy and in their thirties, like us – were hit by cancer. One of them includes Jono, our co-founder.

Cancer can affect any man, at any age, irrespective of how healthy they are. After asking questions about skin cancer, we became shocked by what we learned and then emboldened. We decided to do something about it.

If only more men knew the facts surrounding skin cancer, the same tragedies that struck our friendship group could be avoided. We made it our mission: to help men embrace the outdoors as often as possible, without the fear of skin cancer.

LifeJacket was founded to equip you with the knowledge and tools to protect you, as well as those you love. Our products are created to slip into your rucksack and formulated to prevent damage.

Welcome to LifeJacket. We can’t wait to #TakeLifeOutside with you.

Men and women

Almost twice as many men die from skin cancer vs. women in Australasia, North America and much of Europe.

Male skin cancer cases have exploded over the past 20 years and they’re forecast to double over the next 20 years.

We’re here to change that.

Why are men so at risk?

Skin cancer is one of the most treatable, preventable cancers. But often, men ignore abnormalities on their skin, leaving things too long.

Secondly, when it comes to prevention, most guys aren’t great at protecting themselves. Men told us that traditional brands didn’t address their needs: most products are too heavy, too greasy, get caught in hair, smell of coconuts and simply put, are too much hassle.

A complete
solution for men

We developed a range of high performance skincare and clothing to meet your lifestyle and needs.

We set to work with a team of industry experts. The objective was clear: engineer the first range of high-performance, year-round skin protection products, exclusively for men. It took more than three years of in-depth technical and scientific expertise to get there. But we didn’t want to rush it because we wanted a product that would work for you – that was head and shoulders above everything else.

All our products are clinically, dermatologically and laboratory tested so you know your skin is prepped, protected and primed.

The result is LifeJacket. And we’re incredibly proud of the range.

Dont just
listen to us.

“Unlike other protective products I’ve used in the past, both the Daily Protection Moisturiser and Sun Gel go on smoothly and don’t leave a greasy feel but provide the higher UV protection I’m looking for. A great set of products that I recommend to anyone.”
